Pieris Japonica 'Little Heath'
Common Name: Pieris – Little Heath Japanese Pieris
A dwarf, compact shrub with smaller than usual dark green leaves are edged in creamy white color, while new growth is an attractive bright red. Miniature clusters of white urn-shaped flowers that are pink in bud are borne in spring.
The flowers last well, and remain on the bush for an extended period.
Plant Care: Water regularly, do not allow to dry out. Use organic mulch such as leafmould to help the plant retain moisture and to keep roots cool. Remove any frost damaged growth in spring. Deadhead pieris after flowering has finished - these plants should not need any other form of pruning.
